About the role
We’re looking for a data-driven Lifecycle Marketing Manager – CRM (Email & SMS) to lead all things email and SMS — strategy, execution, flows, campaigns, testing, and retention. Reporting into the CMO, this role is central to our customer engagement engine, responsible for building intelligent, value-rich journeys that drive repeat purchases, deepen brand loyalty, and extend LTV.
You’ll be the champion of lifecycle marketing at BON CHARGE — owning Klaviyo from end to end and collaborating with content, creative, and analytics teams to execute best-in-class programs. From welcome flows to win-backs and campaign sends to segmentation logic, you’ll transform customer data into meaningful, high-performing communications.
This is not a customer service or operational comms role. This is a growth and retention role, designed to maximise the commercial and relational value of BON CHARGE’s customer base through exceptional lifecycle storytelling and performance strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and execute our full CRM strategy across Klaviyo (email + SMS)
- Build, manage, and optimise all automated flows across the customer lifecycle (e.g. welcome, cart abandonment, post-purchase, replenishment, win-back)
- Plan and deploy all email/SMS campaigns with input from brand, performance and content teams
- Own segmentation and list strategy – continuously test and refine audiences for maximum impact
- Partner with data team to enhance customer segmentation by lifecycle stage, value tier, geography, and behaviour
- Collaborate with the creative and content team to brief, test and iterate campaign creative
- Track performance metrics (OR, CTR, CVR, Revenue) and provide weekly reporting with insights and recommendations
- Champion data quality, compliance and deliverability best practices
- Roll out evergreen testing strategies across copy, visuals, product mix, and send timing
- Lead campaign readiness for all new product launches, sales, and promotional moments
- Identify new automation opportunities to extend lifecycle value and deepen retention
- Support the development of a longer-term retention roadmap, preference centre, and subscriber experience journey
Key Requirements
- Proven experience in email/SMS marketing, ideally with a premium eCommerce or DTC brand
- Deep hands-on experience with Klaviyo (flows, campaigns, testing, reporting, SMS)
- Proven ability to design and execute lifecycle journeys that drive revenue and retention
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills — can turn data into insights and action
- Excellent understanding of CRM KPIs (OR, CTR, CVR, LTV, deliverability, churn)
- Experience with segmentation logic, customer journeys and audience targeting
- Clear communicator, strong collaborator, and highly organised
- Basic knowledge of email compliance and deliverability best practices
- Familiarity with reporting platforms such as Supermetrics, GA4, Looker Studio (a plus)
- Bonus: comfort with light copywriting or editing for CRM assets

- Experience with global campaigns across AU, US, UK, CA
- Interest in wellness, health tech, or lifestyle consumer brands
- Prior exposure to SMS platforms beyond Klaviyo
- Experience in retention forecasting or LTV modelling
